Our Mission
Riverside Christian School exists to partner with parents in providing a Christ-centered education that develops students academically, spiritually, socially, and physically in an atmosphere of Christian love and respect for Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word.
We are committed to nurturing integrity, moral character, academic excellence, and spiritual growth while preparing students to faithfully serve God, their families, their churches, and their communities.
Our educational philosophy is founded upon the Biblical conviction that God has entrusted parents—not the government—with the primary responsibility for the education and training of their children.

Every aspect of a Riverside education is intentionally rooted in a Biblical worldview. From our curriculum and instructional methods to athletics and extracurricular activities, our goal is to cultivate independent learners who demonstrate wisdom, responsibility, servant leadership, and Christlike character.
Our faculty is selected not only for professional qualifications but also for a genuine commitment to Christian education. Together with parents, we strive to equip students to excel academically while developing the faith and character needed to honor God throughout their lives.
Our Story: A Legacy of Christian Education
Riverside Christian School opened in August 2007 as a ministry of Countryside Baptist Church. The church has a rich heritage of Christian education, having established Countryside Christian School in 1974 and Creekside Christian School in 2001.
When Suwannee River Valley Christian Academy (SRVCA) announced it would close because of declining enrollment, its board sought a nonprofit organization with a proven commitment to Christian education to continue serving local families. The facilities were graciously donated to Countryside Baptist Church, allowing Riverside Christian School to begin a new chapter while preserving Christian education in the Trenton community.
From its very beginning, Riverside has remained committed to the belief that parents have the God-given responsibility to direct the education of their children and that Christian schools exist to support families in fulfilling that calling.
Humble Beginnings
Riverside opened its doors with:
26 students
Grades K4–8
3 dedicated staff members
Although the school was prepared to educate students through high school, the decision was made to grow carefully, ensuring every student received the individualized attention and academic support that became a hallmark of Riverside Christian School.
Word quickly spread throughout the community. Families recognized the difference a Christ-centered, academically focused education could make, and enrollment continued to grow year after year.
Growing Through God's Blessings
Over the years, Riverside has experienced remarkable growth.
2007: 26 students
2008: 72 students
2009: 84 students
2012: 96 students and our first graduate
2013: Enrollment surpassed 100 students
2019: Mrs. Ginny Keith became Principal, continuing Riverside's tradition of Christ-centered leadership
2025–2026: More than 240 students enrolled
Construction and campus improvements continue as we prepare for future generations of students.
Academic Excellence
Riverside Christian School has earned a reputation for academic excellence and Christ-centered discipleship.
We are proud to have:
Maintained Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) Model School Status since receiving the distinction.
Competed successfully in ACE Student Conventions and Christian academic competitions.
Graduated students who have gone on to colleges, universities, Christian ministry, skilled trades, military service, and successful careers.
Produced Bright Futures Scholarship recipients and graduates serving faithfully throughout their communities.
Excellence in Athletics
Riverside believes athletics are another opportunity to glorify God by developing discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and Christian sportsmanship.
Our athletic accomplishments include:

2018 – Six-Man Football State Champions
2019 – Six-Man Football State Runner-Up
2020 – Six-Man Football State Champions
Our student-athletes continue to compete with excellence while representing Christ on and off the field.
