Welcome to Riverside Christian School! We’re honored that you are considering RCS for your child’s education. To ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process, please review the steps below carefully and complete them in the order listed.

 

Important Admissions Notice

Please do not complete the Application before submitting an Inquiry.

Applications submitted prior to completing the Inquiry process will not be reviewed or processed by the Admissions Office. Additionally, application fees are non-refundable, so following the correct admissions sequence is very important.

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry (Required)

All prospective families must begin by submitting an Inquiry through FACTS:

Submit Required Student Records

After completing the Inquiry, please email the following documents to:

admissions@riversidewranglers.com

Required documents:

Student’s most recent report card
Current standardized test scores
Copy of IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
Transcript (required for students entering grades 6–12)
 

Recommendation Forms

Two recommendation forms are required as part of the admissions process.

After your Inquiry is submitted, recommendation form links will be emailed directly to you.

Important: Recommendation forms must be submitted directly by the recommender. Forms submitted by parents will not be accepted, even if completed by the recommender.

Please Note: Interviews cannot be scheduled until all required documents and recommendation forms have been received.

 

Step 2: Apply for Scholarships (Grades K–12)

Families are encouraged to apply for available scholarships through Step Up For Students:

You will find eligibility requirements, checklists, and application instructions for:

Private School Scholarships

  • Unique Abilities (UA) Scholarships for qualifying Applicants
  • FTC: Florida Tax Credit Scholarship
  • FES-EO: Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options


Important Scholarship Information: If your child has an IEP, a 504 Plan, or a qualifying diagnosis listed by Step Up For Students, your child may qualify for the Unique Abilities (UA) Scholarship. Please review the guidelines. 

We strongly recommend applying for the UA Scholarship first to help reduce out-of-pocket tuition expenses. Please ensure all required documentation is ready before submitting your application.

Step 3: Admissions Interview

Once all required documents and scholarship information have been received, our Admissions Office will reach out to you to schedule an interview.

Admissions Decisions

Following the interview, families will receive one of the following admissions decisions:

Acceptance

Your child has been offered enrollment at Riverside Christian School. Acceptance must be confirmed within 10 days.

Wait List

Your child qualifies for admission, but all available seats are currently filled. Please note that wait list positions do not carry over from year to year.

Non-Acceptance

Your child was not offered enrollment at Riverside Christian School.

Step 4: Application (Invitation Only)

Applications are completed by invitation only after acceptance.

Applications submitted before acceptance will not be processed, and application fees are non-refundable.

Accepted families will receive a welcome email with detailed instructions for completing the application process.

Application Fee $22 non-refundable application fee per child


Step 5: Enrollment

Once the application has been submitted and processed, families will receive instructions for completing the enrollment packet.

Enrollment Fee
$150 non-refundable enrollment fee per family is due at the time of enrollment submission
 

Enrollment Packet Requirements

Please have the following documents ready to upload:

Copy of your child’s birth certificate
Immunization record
Social Security card
Parent/guardian driver’s license
Recent well-child physical (Sports physicals do not meet this requirement)
Important Wellness Exam Reminder

Please ensure all forms are fully completed, especially the first page of the wellness exam. The parent/guardian section must be completed before submission.
